I used them for the first time this year. They offer stands for them and the free standing stands for other body grips work on them. They are very strong and I caught big beaver and otter in the 280's that are 8". I was impressed with how well they worked and the 12" 440's are very open and inviting to a square shy beaver. Little strange to compress the springs as they move around the trap, but after you do a couple it's no big deal.

They are made in Southern Indiana too! You might be close to where they are made. I met Nick at the Indiana State Trappers Covention and watched his seminar and liked what I saw.

I bought 4 when Bill Crum first started making them. There was a post here on TMan where names were suggested. I don't remember now who came up with RBG for round body grip. I bought 2, 330 size and 2, 220 size. They kill stuff real fast and can be handy in some situations. Some 330 shy beaver will go right into a RBG.

I used the 160 size back when I was trapping coon. In a trail set situation they out preformed the square style BG by a bunch. Round just looks more natural then square. I just used my regular H stands and had no issues In stabilizing the RBGs. The only problem was having to chase the springs around.
The thing I like about the single spring sized traps Is you can move the trigger wires to any position you want.
