I want to trap a baby red panda in a live trap. Take it home and train it to be my squirrel treeing panda/buddy!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I wish we could legally trap and take deer. They are mostly a nuisance, but do taste good.

Mountain lions and bears would be interesting and exciting to trap too.

Can't say. funny story. I remember trapping the middle fork of the flathead country. I had a buddy who lived up there and he would invite me to trap marten and Id stay for about three weeks, making multiple long lines on skis into the Bob. He was/is a packer for the FS and had some "buddies" stop by the trailer. They were out too find wolverine for there population survey armed with chicken, barbwire, and some cameras. I immediately could tell they had no idea what they were looking for, or how to find it. I gave them some K-9 lure in hopes they would lure one in. I heard later they barely made it into marten country let alone wolverine country boot packing in Bob and Glacier country in January. Turns out the population is low! Still pisses me off to this day. I seem to see evidence everywhere, but those biologists have em dialed.

Believe it or not, Muskrat. Trapped a few when I lived in South La. There are none here in my part of Tx.
Same with mink. Use to love catching those too.

Muskrats and Marten.

I'm sure if I ask around, and drive far enough, and set enough traps I could scrape together a dozen or so muskrat a season... But I want them in numbers.

Marten are just neat... And you don't need a lot of specialized gear.

I would trade all the animals I trap to only trap Arctic Fox if I could. I bet I would make $50,000 a year off Arctic Fox.

Just a regular West Pa long line with a partner would do it for me.
The exotics are not in my want list. They take you off your game.
Though I wont kick em out lol.
