So after 20 years your finally admitting defeat? Americans never admit defeat... Ask any Southerner, they still don't know the Civil War is over. ps. One can't lose a war if it isn't over. The Southerners call it the war of northern aggression.
No Jab.

Get out now don't look back , we had no valid reason for being there in the first place . that's my opinion !

Well generally peace talks are held with the bunch you're fighting... I'd put a clause in the agreement that any more terror attacks by person's trained in Afghanistan will render the agreement null and void and if so the US will come back and kill every living thing within the border... And then spread salt 6 inches deep over the landscape so nothing will ever live there again. But that's just me. Mike We should do this first then broker peace. Any agreement with a Muslim entity be it a country or organization isn't worth the paper it's written on. The only way to ever have true peace with a any Islamic organization or government is to wipe them from the face of the earth.

What BS. When have I ever bad-mouthed the US?
No, that one is beyond BS. It's a dammed lie.
Jim When you badmouth the duly elected president, by extension, you badmouth our country. At the very least, you badmouth all republican presidents, where in the case of the Vietnam War, you should be laying the blame at the feet of Democrats Kennedy & Johnson who got us into it and then escalated. All in my opinion, of course. w

It will be a deal like Nixon brokered in Viet Nam. The North Vietnamese really kept that deal, didn't they?
Jim Or maybe worse, like the deal Obama made with Iran, when he shipped them piles of cash off the books.

All in my opinion, of course. w I disagree. You can bad mouth a duly elected president. I see no correlation to bad mouthing the country. Obama was certainly an American hating scumbag that did his best to destroy the country in 8 long dark years. It doesn't mean I hate my country. It just means I think the President was an incompetent buffoon as well as the morons that voted for him. However, that's me. Since we are talking about James, who knows? He certainly has zero respect for much of anything in the way of decency, so him hating the country is not a stretch, if it is at all wrong. All liberals' know is hate and misery, just look at them. When they have no reason to hate, they make stuff up.

Much more than that. almost all of the major wars have happened under or because of DemoRats. The exception would be the 1st and 2nd gulf wars. Other than that: Civil war- DemoRats attack WWI -Wilson WWII- Roosevelt Cold War- Roosevelt &Truman Korea- Truman Cuban missile Crisis (almost killed us all) - Kennedy Vietnam- Kennedy- Johnson Other than Gulf 1&2 the major mess in the middle east in these modern times can be attributed to Obama and Hillary for destabilizing Libya and Syria while shunning Israel. DemoRats have no idea how to use diplomacy and there foreign policy has always been horrible.

“If you fail to learn from history you are doomed to repeat it.” Alexander the Great, Kublia Khan , the Soviet Union, and now the USA have gotten caught up in that hole called Afghanistan. Don't forget to mention the British empire !!! w

Yep to OP. I wonder what the blue will have to hate on this for. One can only imagine what hate they will have, and the end is what they wanted from the start. Negative and hate will follow from media on the red.

Get out now don't look back , we had no valid reason for being there in the first place . that's my opinion ! The reason was to kill or capture Bin Laden. Who knew it was going to take 20 years and cost so much?

So after 20 years your finally admitting defeat? What would your "Vaunted" Canadian Military do if faced with the same situation after a Canadian 9/11 event ? Heck, You hosers can't even keep a few Indians off the railroad tracks while you're trying to build pipeline infrastructure through British Columbia. Don't lecture us while you have Justin Trudeau running the show up there. ROTFFALMFAO !!!!! w Hmm not sure what we would do, we've never lost a war so hard to say.
