I'm considering a Mossberg Patriot with a walnut stock in .450 Bushmaster. Can anyone with experience with this rifle give me some feedback. Thanks.

I’ve got one. I didn’t get a chance to use it last year, but I do like the gun. In my experience, it’s not a tack driver, but it’s accurate enough for me, as I keep most of my shots within 100 yards. It packs a punch, and I think it kicks a little harder than my 45-70. The only thing that concerns me about it is that the bolt is kind of loose and shaky when I pull it back to chamber another round. Also, I noticed that the magazine seems to be a little cheap, but haven’t had any problems with yet.. Other than that I am happy with it.

I bought one in 25-06 when they first came out. It's a nice gun for the price, meaning you'd spend at least double to buy any other wood stocked bolt action gun so don't expect the nicest trigger or smooth as glass bolt.

That said, the barrel cleaned up as fast as most and shoots acceptable groups. I'd buy another.

I won one in 6,5 creedmore at a QDMA banquet in December haven't shot it yet but hoping to very soon.
