Well one of the big things is that they are fed, figuratively and literally poison. At least here in the USA, they're told the country sucks and has never been good. The climate is going to kill them. Climate is going to kill the polar bears that eat the baby seals. They don't who is going to be in the bathroom/locker room with them , if they even know which one to go into.

World-wide unrest. Working one's way up is old fashioned. They assume they were born at the top and were robbed before they learned to walk. Food comes from the store. Money grows in government coffers. Fertilize the ink.

Karl Marx must be turning in his grave with his labor theory of value, saying "where's the labor"?

Why not do both? There's virtually nothing preventing us expanding in both directions.

All joking aside, The world we live in has changed. It wasnt that long ago that here in this country there was a booming steel industry. To fuel that industry there were thousands of coal mines and a booming rail industry to transport that coal to the steel mills and the steel from the mills to the ports for export or to manufacturers. All of those jobs were hard work but offered wages that made it possible for young fellas out of high school start and support a family. It was a good enough income for wife to stay home and raise the kids. Those opportunities are all but gone now. So are the days of getting a job and working there for 30 years and retiring with a company pension plan. Young folk still can and do succeed in these modern times but it isnt like the old days.

Huge. Facebook, snap chat, twitter, etc. They are nothing more than slot machines giving you a little shot of dopamine when you "friends" react/follow/however the heck it works. Forums like this where you actually talk with people are old school falling by the way side.

Participation trophies give them no sense of accomplishment
The gimmie attitude gives them no feeling of service
Lack of "adulting" leaves them with no sense of self sufficiency
They are scared because defending yourself is immoral
They are scared because they can't provide
They are scared because mommy and daddy can't do everything for them anymore and the government isn't taking up the slack.
They are scared because we put to much value in "saftey"
They are unhappy because the are not making 100k a year with their degree in 21st century ballpoint pens that they overpaid for


They list is so big where do you begin to fix it.

Most kids today have two sets of parents or only a mother and does not know who the fathers is. With no direction in life. The video said a lot. IMO
