Paula OP "Gimp" P Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 957 Corydon, IN	It's been a few years, but a lot of you remember me and my husband tried for 9 years to have a kid, then out popped John. He was a natural with all you all, and you pretty much watch him grow up at the conventions. Last couple years we haven't gone, matter of fact John and I missed most of the state meets as well. See he by accident took up competitive shooting 3 years ago and I traveled with him to summer camps and matches. Well I'm proud to say all that travel, and endless hours shooting here in the shed paid off. He just got invited to go to the US Jr Olympic trials in Air rifle. He gets to go to Colorado Springs stay at the US training center where he will practice then compete for 2 spots on the Jr Olympic team. They only take the top 200 under 20 year olds in the country so this is a very big honor. I wanted to share with all you guys that know him, and wonder what happened to him. My husband wanted to set up his Lures, so I postponed a trip, John is skipping Fort Benning so we can help with the Lures. You guys can also be proud that John is a member of the NJROTC and carries the American flag during the presentation of colors before the ball games.
