Well y'all it's a nice 70 degrees out so I figured I'd sit on the porch with my nigh vision rig and try to see what my dog been barking at the last week. And I'm a little surprised.





Small sounder with what I can see is two large sows , three smaller pig's and a hand full if piglets not 200yd from my literal front door out her rooting up the neighbors cow field. Like I can walk to my mail box and they will be in range but I'm not allowed to shoot anything more than a .22 around here so sayeth the people living around me, apparentl they think I'll shoot a cow ( and apparently have ). I guess I'll show this in the A.M . But till then I'll just sit here and watch them for a bit. By the way I'm on the down wind side of an and it smells wonderful lol

Pork chop home delivery service on the hoof ..... i like that. To me fair, a .223R is a 22 round and that would do it. Otherwise I would invest in a can and use sub sonic rounds

If the guy that owns the pasture they are rooting up is the one nervous about you shooting, a few days of damage he may sit out there and shoot a few with you

Build a trap if you want to actually get rid of them, shoot one or two if you want to just have fun and bump them to the next farm.

What scope are you running?

Have some fun! Invest in a decent bow and put the stalk on em'!

Show the guy that owns the land what you have and how you plan on doing it, invite him over the night of the shoot so he can be part of the fun. Maybe you can shoot one for him. LOL JMO

Well the funny thing is ice listened to him complain about them for the last month or so but this is the same dude who complains about c oyotes messing with his cows but won't let me tral or shoot an.

Actually found some smaller hog prints at the edge of the yard this morning so I think imma set up in the truck bed tonight and pop one or two when they get too close to the fence. I think it will be worth the butt chewing lol, my in-laws been on my butt lately for some wild hog hams anyway lol

I live in “town” and it’s illegal to discharge a firearm. But my neighbor has a can on his 22 and a bullet trap. He shoots all the time in his backyard. With a privacy fence, no one’s the wiser.

Don’t go upsetting the neighbors there big guy. Things could go south real fast. Learned that lesson several years ago when I went toe-to-toe with one on the regular. Guy would call the cops over everything. Was never in the wrong and they knew it soon as they showed up but it was still a pain. I just kept finding ways to get my subtle jabs in that could never be proven in a court of law. But still, it was an arduous ordeal and might’ve been fun for a while but became tiresome in the long run. Just watch yourself bud.

Looks like you guys need to put some of northern guys up for a while to get some bacon.

Lock your dogs up for a couple of nights, build a good, big strong live trap "ON YOUR PROPERTY". Pile it full of corn. Go out the next morning with your .22 and shoot to your hearts content.
