Not gonna be much of a market anywhere, went through this in the crash in 87, got a check for some fur I sold at a Canadian auction for .35 cents! How about the Ginseng market? That can't be very good. This will pass and we will have new challenges , Iam more worried about the SOB in Sante Fe.

Sell throughout the season and you don't get stuck with a bunch of worthless fur you can't move. I'd rather have some $$ in my pocket instead of none.

Everyone knew that coyotes were the only really hot item, so go catch thousands of coon to dump into a stagnant market and create more backlog. Makes about as much sense as creating hysteria over a mild viral pneumonia.

I read countless posts after the auctions when someone would post they sold 80 pelts for $12 and 20 were bought back and those anti the auctions would state that well you actually have a $9.60 average not a $12. Now with route sales suspended will those who sold partial amounts at x be sharing what their remaining pelts at $0 will bring their average down too?

Last receiving date for FHA for the summer sale, if it happens, is something like mid-April. Our spring season goes through the end of April in northern WI. I guess I'll flesh and dry them and wait for next year, don't think I'll have much competition and will hopefully make a bunch on castor alone.

Totally amazed that so many folks are worried about wiping. Never used leaves? I have, no problem. Whatever works.
