Still going out every morning, resetting empty popped traps, and getting wet and muddy. One of these days I’ll find a dumb beaver in one of them

I'm going to start Trapping Beaver tomorrow.

What's the Beaver limit in your area of PA? are you Trapping Beaver in NY.

done in NY,was east for a month, now around home til trap alaska goes back then i'll be on timber companies properties 2 hrs east of me for a couple days.big pain but it keeps me in good with them and provides keys to the gates around home.they were hammering maple there but the warm temps shut them down.3 crews from town were staying there.

Here in Tenn trapping season closed Feb 28th on furbearers but you can still trap coyotes year around. I pulled all my traps except 5 that I left out on my buddies property he hunts, because he really wants to thin them out to help fawn survival. Got another one this morning on the remake of the last catch [Linked Image]

Thanks GROUSEWIT.

So if I understand correctly, 20 traps or snares max at a time?

Also 65 beaver combined...so how many in a WMU?

Do not trap beavs, and not hijacking, just saying that sugar content thing is real interesting for another post or camp fire talk.
To you Pa guys that trap from Oct. til now, I tip my hat to ya.

Not trapping here, looking forward to getting after groundhogs in a bit.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Whacking a few beavers I needed some for cat bait for next year but that got out of hand quickly now the neighbors all want some gone. Always working on skunks I have one to get after I have my coffee on the way to check beaver sets.

Meeting a man this Sunday. He lives on a large lake and is tired of seeing muskrats in his yard. Haven't set a price yet but a mutual friend of ours said the man would probably be willing to pay a thousand dollars for me to trap how ever many I can for a week. Nice thing is that the guy lives twenty minutes away so I can run the traps and still go to work.

I'm still trapping hogs, the ones who won't enter a conventional trap or corrals become snare victims.
