I'm still running a few 330's to keep the landowner happy. I would have preferred underice trapping, but there was never any real ice.

Still trapping coyotes. Will stay with it until may probably. Start back hard in aug or sept. I may have a few set all summer close to the house.

Still after beaver. Got a nice one this morning. Must be a bigger one hanging around....something took a big whack at him while in the trap.

I set two snares for a farmer buddy of mine on Monday after noon . He doubted my abilities, so I told him he should probably check the castor mound about an hour after dark. He called me about 9: pm to apologize, had the second one in a bank den the next morning.

My water is still too high at home , hard to set a slide when the whole thing is under water .

It's racing season so we've been putting a car together in spare time. Hope to be done in a week or so

1 beaver, 3 rats and 2 skunks today would be a great day if the 30 MPH wind would let up a bit.

40,50,60 pounders here today and moved all 10 sets to spots no one has trapped near where my guests will be setting tomorrow.will check them while they are setting and hopefully switch some for them.the amount of beaver here is silly.

Regular season ended March 1st. I’m on an adc permit at my house for beaver. I'm only go for another weeks and I'm gonna shut it down.

Now a guy needs to step it up, before he wanted to catch a few of this or that now he needs to trap more critters to get the tanning price breaks. LOL

This dumb duck is still out there twappin them beavahs and ottahs.

Still have a couple sets out but pulled the rest last week. We can trap beaver only till the end of march. I have caught 17 in the last couple weeks with the biggest one being 70ish. The sets I have left out is for a big male that is missing toes on 2 feet and everybody and his brother has tried to trap or shoot him. This sucker is slicker than a molasses pop sickle and dang lucky to boot. Pictures of some I caught the last couple weeks.

Didn't realize at the time that should of weighed that 70ish beaver on a certified scale as it might of been a new state record for about 2days. A good dude just down river from me swatted one that blew the old record out of the water. Weighed in at a slim 81 pounds. Man what a dinosaur!!

Been having a good time with my youngest boy. Been pretty fun not caring about numbers or time management. Just trying to keep it interesting...
