Starting to close here too. I guess if it does spread that easily just keep em at home for couple weeks and let this cycle out. If I was over 60 and had health issues I'd be cautious as heck right now but otherwise feels like just need to practice good hygiene and get the kids outside like we normally do to let fly get out of the cycle.
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Well the Gov of Ky is going to get every penny of the Fed money he can. They shut down the ENTIRE school system effective Monday. Classes cancelled thru april 10 !!!! PEOPLE WE HAVE 4 YES FOUR cases in the entire state !!!!!!!!! WE had 5 cases but the first one has been cleared and resting at home. OH yea only one was admitted to the hospital. They are closing county schools that are hundreds of miles away from any of the cases !!!!! BUT fed money is free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLUS he is a democrat spewing the koolaid everywhere
To the state ................. Daddy taught him how to play the game well, didn't he?

Michigan just closed also. Yup. They shut us down for the next 3 weeks. Hard for parents to continue working when kids can't go to school or daycare. We're trying to figure out how we're going to make this work.....
When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.

Ohio shut down for three weeks, it's a good thing. Plus our Gov banned all gatherings of 100 people or more. Weird as heck but good.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I literally just got the message here in a Brown Co. Our spring break starts Monday and then they are gonna start with 10 of the 20 days allowed after that just to be safe. Thankfully I’m a SAHM so it’s not too big of a deal, except maybe my sanity!!! Lol. Prayers for all who have to find other care solutions or have to take an income hit. And also for everyones health!
New trapper! Really excited to learn!

This is a common sense step and by next week most states will follow suit. Unfortunately, it seems a lot of the public aren't smart enough to understand why. Which is precisely the reason why. Yes we aren't as smart as you northern fellows. Fear and disruption!! Still not going to beat Trump !! If there was ONE just one case near us and people where dying like flies then yes shut down and cower in fear . But I have several nursing friends and they say they have seen several cases of the same symptoms since November.!!! BUt because it hadn't been radicalized by the news media the patients were treated as if it was bronchitis !!!! OH yea NEWS FLASH EVEN when a patient test positive for corona THEY ARE STILL treated as if it was bronchitis !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems that school closures prompt the run on food.

Although I don't see the need to panic like I seen today out and about, it is the smart thing to do in being sequestered. It has nothing to do with if you have active cases, it's about limiting the chances that you do get them. When you go night fishin in the summer do ya wanna take your chances with the skeeters, or spray on some Off?
