Yep..I didn't know this until recently..Somewhere around 80 percent of the meds used in this country are manufactured in China..Some of these plants also make more for the industry than just meds..I'm already reading about med shortages in the USA..The story is read and people in our own government won't say what manufacturing plant nor what meds are impacted..goes along with the supply chain..Those of you that are on meds..well..If the virus don't get you.Hopefully the med crisis that's about to happen won't either..As always may the odds always be in your favor..

well I have had a good life. Just like you Carl spent a lot of it off in some wild place. Very few regrets and no biggy's. If I die tomorrow I wont have anything to complain about. I will be leaving behind some awesome family.

I dont have time or inclination to worry about the chinese cutting off my medicine.

You buy a $97 dollar med made in the US then you get the refill from China and it’s $97 now who benefits from that do you think? LOL

I remember when I was fighting a tick thing and was taking doxy. The first couple of scripts I got at Walmart, then I ran out of refills and refused to go to the Dr again. I already gave them $1800 cash for all their worthless test ( $300 for a swine flu test in the middle of July) I had fifteen deer ticks and knew it was from them. Anyway I ordered the next from Canada and everyone told me I was crazy and would get poisoned, lol. I found some of my papers from Walmart that their doxy was coming from Jordan. Yea I didn't let that die too soon. I also got some from Taiwan. If you pay $100 for U.S. made in Jordan then I guess its worth twice as much as the $50 one from Canada.

After a few years of being sick I finally got better with pig Ivermectin and a combination of Vodka and stevia. And you guessed it, I ordered the actual green stevia from China. Anyway I got better, maybe I just outgrew it, but I didn't die from the meds from Canada or Taiwan or Jordan either for that matter. Paying more don't always mean better.

The big Pharma has always claimed made in the US was better but now it seems they may have got caught with their pants down by not being able to get their cheap drugs from China.

Spoke to a Pharmacist recently about what they would do if the brand of medicine a person on, runs out and they can't that brand because of a shortage. The reaction I got from the Pharmacist was not what I was expecting!! He said "They are all the same drug. One generic is the same as another generic . "

Sorry, but certain types of Generic drugs don't all work the same way, even if they are "Bioequivalent". They could have the same active ingredient, but there could be different inactive ingredients in the generic brands.

Seen a cardiologist the other day the way he said,” your not on any meds” he sounded surprised like it seldom happens. LOL Must of tore a chest muscle had some fluttering in the heart area he said it was all good.

A major generic supplier, Tiva I think, is in Israel.

Raw materials come from everywhere.

The inactive ingredients are, well, inactive.

So here I go on politicians again they all disappoint me why do we let this happen. Meds from China and the cost we pay corporate greed and greedy politicians.

How is it when the gov subsidizes the farmer it equals cheap food and control has been since the the time of Joseph in Egypt. But funded research in drugs results in higher prices. Something I don't see in that equation.

Somehow I doubt Bernie will pinch the feeding tube he is connected to.

Yep..After what I saw yesterday..Those of you that depend on prescriptions..you might want to get a few months or so supply if you can..or if they are even available for you...People are scared and panic is setting in..You can see the fear in their face and eyes.Even the children..I have only seen this once before in my life it involved a wild land fire and people being ordered to evacuate..The insanity of people will spread with virus..I have already seen people of faith in fear you can't hide it..I haven't heard of any country since the virus broke out 9-14 weeks ago that has had peak in the virus yet and is on a down trend..that would be good news..

I'm lucky on the fact my meds are made in Switzerland....
