You guys are mis-reading the link in the OP. China isn't claiming to have a drug for C19. They are talking about restricting other drugs and components.

The only drug currently being tested on humans is from Gilead Sciences. An American company.. The same company that created the cure for Hep-C This new drug was developed for Ebola and is being tried on corona infected humans in China.

I DID read the article...twice. Only the title links the words "deny" and "Coronavirus drugs". Nowhere in the article does it say that. They allude to OTHER life saving drugs but not one that prevents or cures CV19.

Even the title doesn't say what you claim. It says the Chinese HINT at ........

China can't deny us life saving coronavirus drugs because they don't have any. Beijing even jumped all over a Hong Kong company this morning for saying they could start manufacturing such a drug

Yes, and at real prices, not so that the CEO's can be a twirpy bezos. Nothing good has come from China and yet because of greed the sellouts manufacture there. It's time to give them the big ole American middle finger and get it done here. It's just like us here on Tman, we may have our differences, but let an outsider mess with one of us, and you got all of us to deal with, as it should be with family. Again money makes the world go round! All the buy America is not going to save us we are a sucker to save a buck its human nature and corporate greed. The CEOs want to make as much money for the share holders and cheap is the bottom line. The consumer is the same be honest with yourself, why do trappers continue to buy foreign made traps, tools ect they save money. With drugs I would pay more to be assured I was getting a safe product but the corporations take short cuts in the state to save money. Bottom line its all about money and will continue to be that way.

It's not only profit for the share holders. Anyone can Google CEO pay for insurance or pharmaceutical companies. You'll be shocked.
All of these products can be made in the USA if people will/could pay for them.
