I won't say that there is nothing to this but I will say at the very least this is the exact fear mongering that the media is getting rich off of right now.

Thus far, Hong Kong has had 118 cases of Covid-19. Around 19 have recovered and been discharged, probably all within the last 10 days. The observations in the article were limited to 12 individuals.

I don't know if I'm the odd man out but anytime I get a bad cold, it takes a good 3 weeks after recovery until I quit hacking and get full long capacity back. I'm not a doctor nor have I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express lately but I do know that pathogens are around us at all times. Its only when our bodies become stressed that they are able to infect and affect us. The media sure isn't helping matter out by keeping people calm.

I’ve always heard the common cold is 9 days.

3 days moving in, 3 days residing, 3 days moving out.

Not much of a study I had two friends that visited in china and said they were blown away by how many people smoked including very young children and how bad the air pollution was. Maybe their lungs were all ready compromised or the air pollution is not helping them. I believe in science but this is more of an observation than good science.

I remember watching an episode of Body Bizarre where a Chinese kid 3 years old, overweight, and addicted to smoking cigarettes, a pack a day! The reason the mother gave for allowing him to smoke was that he gets really mean if she doesn't.
crazy

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

I was just there in December. Air pollution was terrible and smelled like wood smoke everywhere. Coal fired power plants every few miles for 200 or more miles from Shanghai. You could look directly at the Sun through the smog. Apparently smog and air pollution has really improved in the past 5 years according to one of the guys in our group that was there a few years ago. Everyone smoked heavy and indoors and most wore masks. Many would stand along the street with their masks pulled down smoking a cigarette. I suspect Hong Kong is very similar.

Lol, makes perfect sense? Maybe no one tells them cig smoke is bad for you?

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I hope this is wrong but I would say this sickness is different then any other I have had. I'm on day 12 and still feeling unwell but recovering. I do have a feeling in my chest like I have suffered an injury. I have walked out to the road to get the mail (200') and not gasping but about all I can handle now. No way I could walk briskly and not be out of breath.65 so had the flu before numerous times and never had a feeling like this in my chest.
