I have tried it lots of ways and what I've found is a crock pot is best. Right now I have beaver pot roast almost ready. Last week I did split pea beaver soup. Another good one is slow cooked and shredded and put in burritos.

Smoked isn’t too bad.

Also in a crockpot and pulled apart to make pulled beaver sandwiches with some spicy bbq sauce.... yum

Do you have to do any prep to it before cooking. I have one in the freezer and been thinking about pulling some out and giving it a try. Do I just thaw it out and commence to cooking?

Sagabon is a good way to cook geese and beaver-slow roasted beside an open fire for 6-8 hours. Most times a half dozen or more are cooked at a time for a feast.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Throw some possum in with it. You will get some variety. Put in a few greens and sweet taters. Will help keep covid- 19 away if cooked at high temperature.
