Monday city council is voting to give the mayor emergency powers, effective immediately after passing. The hearing is closed to the public because the city has closed all public events due to corona virus.

The emergency powers stop all sales of gas, alcohol, guns, ammo, streets are closed, set curfews and many other things.

I cannot wait to move. Closing cannot come fast enough

People are fighting over water already.

It will be interesting to see what they do! Keep us posted.

Snowy, Thursday night I finally went into contract on a house which landed up being in Sandoval County. It took almost 2 months of trying to buy a house to finally get an offer accepted. I must have seen at least 50 houses out of nearly 100. Only had time to put an offer on about 8 of them. We would be either driving to look at houses or physically in the house and the listing agent would call saying they accepted another offer. Houses are lasting 12 hrs here.

Go outside of town and buy all those things. Stay out of cities as much as you can.
