Chatting with my brother this morning.. He works for a company makes cleaning products for commercial businesses so hospitals also. I jokingly ask was he working OT making hand sanitizer.. He's been on mandatory OT for couple years already because of how company hires...Anyway Their company makes hand sanitizer but not at his plant..He reminded me of that, which I knew but had to ask anyway..
He did say they were trying to go big guns making their other disinfects. Problem they were having that guess none of us here have heard of or posted.. They have a bunch of people out sick with normal flu.. So they are having a hard time keeping things going just for lack of regular workers that aren't sick with flu..
So are those people that already got the flu considered in the compromised group for CV?? How does that effect things if workers that need to take care of CV patients are sick with regular Flu?
More math I can't do..no bean counter..

On another note my brother said.. That one of our Deer Hunting parties I won't give his name but he has hunted with us for at least 20 years. Got a call that his cousin died and was first in SD to die from CV.. Had just returned home from Florida got sick died.
So if it's a cousin of a friend that died?? do I win the T-man pole for first to know someone? or does it have to be my actual friend or a relative I know first hand??

You could easy put a tablespoon of clorox in a gallon of water and sanitize anything you want to. even your hands.

2/3 cups isopropyl alcohol 91 %
+ 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
= hand sanitizer
you can add an essential oil for scent if desired .

I've know that for years. We used to wash a lot of medical equipment back in the day reuse, that is now throw away..I most always have couple gallons of bleach around here just normal times.. I also have couple gallons of the disinfect they make where my brother works.. Stuff goes couple oz to a gallon can be sprayed on kills HIV all the other good bugs... He gave me this stuff when they had over runs and needed it out of the way..So I took a case 4 gallons, use it to clean dog runs, skinning bench what ever think needs some heavy killing clean.. Might be worth hanging on to now big trade value in the apocalypse.. Wife may need TP..I haven't used any TP myself in 5 years except to clean my glasses..
As for my hunting friends cousin dieing from CV.. He seems to have weird luck when comes to how his relatives die. Been some years back now his sister was one them folks came home flipped light switch got blown up gas leak died.. So I'm not sure should be any where near him right now??

Just stay away from people, do not have personal contact with anyone, wash your hands and make sure you sanitize you cell phone. We just opened all our window for a few hours, it was 30 degrees out. Just aired out the house and changed the furnace filter. JMO

I'm no hypochondriac far from it..I'm kinda going about business as usual myself.. That isn't easy when everyone else all out whack...
Just on phone with my brother works in chemical place.. He said it so bad he has locked his locker at work for first time in years.. Some one stole big bottle hand sanitizer off his desk been there for weeks lol..

Man I think I would use the toilet paper first before I would use my glasses.

I always air out the house in the spring and change the air filter in the furnace. The house is closed up for a long time in the winter.

There is no isopropyl alcohol or aloe Vera gel online or in the stores in southern Az.

Everclear or 180 proof vodka or rum same plus you can drink it an sterilize water.

If you could drink that, could sanitize from the inside out?

Walmart has no 91% alcohol on line anywhere to be shipped. Stores are empty.
Some gas line antifreeze is made with isopropyl alcohol. Check the auto parts stores. Aloe vera gel might be a problem though.

Hand sanitizer has no aloe vera in it, alcohol and glycerine are the main components.
