I hope you don’t run out of room. Nothing worse than a sale where groups of coyotes get mixed up while laying on the tables. Been there. Done that.

Wissmiss, all coyotes are tagged. We take mixing up people’s fur very seriously. We knew we would be around that 3,000 rat, 2,500 coyote and 750 cat mark so we prepared ourselves

Any updates on the sale? I know buyers are busy grading fur. Actual bid reading won’t happen until Sunday.

Who is there for buyers

I wonder if buyer numbers are up or down from other years? Seems like a good turn out for the current world situation

I think buyer numbers are steady. Maybe up a bit from last year. The big draw at this sale is 2500 coyotes. Mostly good western pelts. One of the last opportunities for a sizable offering of western coyotes in the country. Oregon and North Dakota have sales next weekend.

Coyotes did very well at their first sale back in the middle of January.

It looks like K Falls will be 2 days. Friday and Saturday. At least that is what Don said about a week ago.

If a third day is needed it will be Thursday the 19th.

Don was telling me that the Klamath fairgrounds management told him that they would need to cancel the sale if they anticipated a crowd larger than 250. Luckily those days are long gone.

This seems a bit confusing but it’s what we have right now. Weighed items like castor are per ounce I think. [Linked Image]

It appears to me that trappers realize we're at the end of this seasons road. With 12 buyers present you see theres no other options to go to now. So they unloaded. The buyers were able to cost average down from earlier purchases. Cat coyote averages hurt, but expected.
Unless there were alot of springy coyotes.
All in all looks like a nice collection gathered and good support from buyers. Thanks ITA.
Thank you 10 Bands
