Our pastor is preaching without a crowd this morning, but we will be listening on the internet at a home with other believers. Dont know if thats necessary, but it is what it is. Any one else have altered worship service?

Not here yet! We skipped shaking hands, and some other small things like holding hands during the Our Father

Normal attendance at Church this morning. We even had a benefit hotdog roast after Church for the youth group.

Wife and I went to our middle daughters house this morning, our other two daughters came and brought their boys.
We had a quick breakfast and streamed our regular service. A lot didn't attend church, but they did auction off a roll of toilet paper for $200!

Last night on the local TV stations out of Columbus, they were running church closings and a few other event closings on the bottom of the screen, like they normally do school closings when it snows.

Our church has less than 250 in attendance so the State says we can meet as long as we maintain a six foot separation between each person....yeah, right.
I doubt we will do much if anything different. We don't meet until 2:00, then dinner afterwards, then soccer, then sauna. The day is usually wrapped up about midnight. I really can't see it changing much for the present time.

We always meet in homes. No building or staff expense. Let's money go a lot further to help people. Everyone can participate. Not for everyone but it sure suits my family. We met Friday night.

Our church cancelled services for two weeks. The average age of our church members is around 72 so it’s better to take the precautions. We already broadcast our 11am service on the radio but this week we also put it on live Facebook and watched it and worshipped from home.

One thing that got my attention by our governments rules shutting down assemblies of persons with more than 100 attendees I believe this to be unconstitutional. We all have the right to assemble(whether it’s wise to do so or not) and have the right to worship.

We had pretty good attendance this morning, especially considering it is the first weekend of our spring break. Not everyone was up for shaking hands, but we had a 5 minute greeting time same as always. At this point it doesn't look like we will be doing anything different.

Our attendance was actually up quite a bit today. I think several people came from some of the Slavic mega churches in the area that are more or less shut down.

Looks like as of now they are suggesting groups larger than 50. Just a suggestion.

Our governor used the verbiage “prohibit”. He also kicked off his re-election campaign in NY City instead of anywhere near NC.

Being on our church council we had a long discussion today after our service. We will continue to hold services. We wiped down all the pews and hymnals etc. Saturday and we will stop using our 3 different hymnals and service books. we will print all of that in our bulletin. We will stop communion via intinction and we are working to keep a good arms length distance. With schools closed we will stop our confirmation for our youth as well and we will not serve our soup and sandwich suppers for the remainder of lent. We will await more news from state leaders and also our bishop at our synod as well. Attendance for us was down over 50% today.

I'm still up in the air about the servarity of virus! Not worried about it! Just still undecided. If that makes any sense? Went to church as normal with kids and found out as I watched people elbow bump, and air hug instead of shaking hands and huging! That an email was sent out saying no shaking hands or huging! That disturbed me a little. Kind of reminded me of a bunch of grade schoolers running around yelling you have cooties.

So I have made the decision to keep my family home until it's all over and people quit acting like idiots.

Especially when other churches are shutting their doors to services so the can open them to parents in need of day-care due to schools being closed.

If it's not safe enough to shake hands and hug? Not safe enough to bring kids because who knows what their putting in their mouths etc...

I have offer d to watch a couple state troopers kids while they work.
