Was contemplating purchasing a new gun with bulk ammo the last few months. Went to the site and that gun and ammo now out of stock. WOW

Just saw an article that showed a line of people out the door at a gun store in California. Some stores said they did more business in a week or two than they did in the last couple months.

Stopped by a sporting goods store today for other stuff and walked through the ammo section. 223 and 9mm all gone. Some 22 LR still though.

If yall are just now buying guns and ammo because you dont have "enough" then you havent been paying attention for a few years now.

A lot of the states getting hammered with this are liberal states. Buddy just stopped by Scheels said it was a ghost town. I think the democrats are starting to understand or appreciate the stance theyve been opposing for so long.

I'm curious what all these folks are planning to do with these guns and ammo? Shoot their friends and neighbors to protect their stash of tp and wipes?

Saw a news clip where three women were wrestling each other for the last pack of toilet paper, but nobody got shot.

Worst case scenario for me is we run out of hamburger in a couple weeks and I gotta go out after dark* to shoot Bambi's little sister and grind it up for chili. But that only takes one shot.

*Whole herd of them walk through the yard daily......but only after dark.

I figured everyone learned their lesson already. I would have thought any ammo and weapon purchases after the last run would just be “bonus” ammo and guns for fun!

Your right, it takes discipline to walk by the ammo and not grab something. Especially hard when people are snatching it all up. The rush of ammo hoarding, it's like a drug. Haha

I wonder if the old gill net is still in good shape!

Iv got a small herd of deer-9, that will get me by for a while if need be.
Also several rabbits and squirrels in the yard.

After listening for gobblers and checking traps with my son Saturday morning we saw no less than 50 deer. Between the turkeys heard and the deer seen I believe our little community will be eating quite well, lol.
