With all that is going on , food hoarding , lack of TP and sanitizers, closing of businesses , banning large groups , closing schools, quarantine areas , runs on ammo , talk of govt taking over certain sectors or businesses and more things like this being reported hourly , we are very close to martial law already.

Admittedly a lot of this is panic or maybe it's not. Plus it may come to an end quick. I hope so. I don't want to see mass amounts of people sick or dying. Or any outright mayhem.

My local town hall just announced they are cutting their hours back , certain depts closing , other more essential depts will only handle requests by phone in appointments only. No walk ins.

How much more before we are at a state of defacto martial law , like curfews , travel bans , closing of stores , gas stations, banks, banning sales of arms and ammo , roadblocks/checkpoints etc ?

Yes , a lot of this is panic. Brought on by politicians. Strangely I hope that is all it is. The alternative is real problems with people dying/sick and widespread mayhem.

My opinion is that some places already have a form of it right now. Liberal controlled areas will escalate this faster. A national deceleration would put many people over the edge because they are already standing on the edge.

Right now the liberal areas are having a contest to see who will restrict freedom the most. That is to be expected.

Martial law with a Republican Pres., very unlikely, if Hillary would have won, we'd be talkin about when it would end.

What's crazy is if it wasn't for trapper man I wouldn't know any of this stuff is going on. I think people make it a bigger deal then it is. I know that there is a coronavirus going around but I haven't been confined in any way. Now we are on vacation and there has been a few thing that we were going to go do that have been postponed due to the virus. But other then that things are normal at home and here in Missouri. I dont go to big city's so I dont care if they shut down, I have cash at home and money in the bank. Let it come, I will just got to the river bottoms to my buddy's cabin and eat deer and fish till things get better.

I just heard SF CA went on 30 day house confinement starting tonight.

Half the people there(calif) have no home and the other half have homes way too big.

I heard Cumo wants the military to take over the hospital end of things, and to create triage centers.

I don't think there is enough resources for martial law. If all the military, national guard and law enforcement combined, would there be enough to enforce martial law everywhere?

martial law is a suspension of law including the constitution. im not going to cooperate. im not living under a totalitarian government.

One of the first steps to control a group of people is to start isolating them into smaller groups or individually. The response to this is unprecedented. The h1n1 'pandemic' during bo's presidency was worse (as of now) and none of the things we are seeing happened.
