Well maybe where you live people don't know how to cook but the produce manager for two stores near us had nothing left to put on the shelves after Saturday. They will get further deliveries but were told they will not their full orders.

They'll get all kinds of stuff that people wont want.

Pretty soon someone will have some footage of the homeless visiting a bait station for bears.

I had some business with the Mennonites this morning so i took my wife and gave her a tour of the Mennonite bulk and salvage food stores down by Versailles Mo . They were very busy like saturday morning would be . They seemed well stocked . They had tp , wipes , soap and all the food staples there were bargains on cheese , bacon frozen cooked chicken products , canned goods, and cereal .

I haven't been out, I basically live in a cave. Is it really getting this crazy or is it just tools hyping?

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Went to Costco today, it was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life.

Wife and I were talking about it last night. People are so used to convince of living day to day and having a store close if they forget something. Wife goes to town every 2-3 weeks, so we always are planning ahead. If not we have wise food in the basement for a few months. Interesting and sad to see this happening. Hopefully the masses will learn a thing or two, but I’m not counting on it

Ever seen the size of the pantry in the average modern home? The million dollar custom homes I've done have big walk in pantries, working class houses have a tiny closet.

We have Amish nearby that have the same type bulk food stores. Haven't heard whether they're still stocked up on stuff or not. It's a good store to get different bulk pasta's and spices.

Well, they were trying to buy ammo in sporting, but the rest were in the food/cleaning supply section. Wasn't anything but a few generic brand napkins in the paper products isle. Maybe 6 cases of water and people moving toward them. Can good isle, pasta, and a few others had bare sections. And folks were moving at a pretty good pace. The aspirin, ibuprofen, etc. isle was almost completely empty. I felt like I had walked into a movie scene or something. Nothing frantic, but a sense of urgency seemed to be in the mood of most people.

Common sense is gone.....havent they heard that taking ibuprofen if you have Covid 19 can be deadly ? Talked to a friend from Sacramento today. He's on the fire department/ ambulance there. He said their response time has went from 4 minutes to 8 in the last few days and they expect it to go up to 30-35 minutes before its all over...

went to Rural King a few hrs ago. Everything seemed pretty average, till I got near the gun section. They may be having some sale or something but that place was packed. Most looking at AR's. I have never seen that store with that many at the gun counter.

Went to a rural grocery store tonight and they seemed to be pretty well stocked. A few of the items I picked up, I got the last one. Things like hidden valley ranch, boneless skinless chicken breasts, a particular kind of bread. Only thing they didnt have that I was looking for was Jif creamy peanut butter.

They also had TP and bottled water, though I didn't look at cleaning supplies. Store wasn't all that busy for 6pm on a weekday. They also had plenty of beer, so that's probably contributing to a lack of panic.

Today was the first day I noticed it at Super 1, while getting some dinner makings for this week. I strolled on by the toilet paper and paper towel aisle just to see what they hype was about. Yep... completely empty. and I mean completely empty. Nothing. Nada. There was a large box from the stock room that used to hold napkins... really?
