I got a call today saying that the klamath falls sale is cancelled

Executive order from the Governor no crowds larger than 25 and she wishes for no crowds larger than 10. That killed any hope for the Fur sale at Klamath Falls.

That sucks. No chance to reschedule.

I seen some cats get pulled ( no sale ) in prineville . I think guys were gonna second chance some fur in klamath........roll the dice

Biden will still hold a rally in oregon. He wont cross the 250 threshold

I hear yes on reschedule, who knows at this point.

I just talked to Don. The fairgrounds let him know that because of Kate Brown's afternoon announcement of no crowds over 25 that they were cancelling all scheduled events for the time being.

We had 10 buyers coming and they are all disappointed. Don asked them if this thing blows over if they would be willing to attend a future auction in maybe 5-6 weeks if that could be arranged, and it sounded like they were all-in on that notion.

The fairground is not willing to discuss the future for the time being so we'll all have to just wait and see.

That is encouraging the sale might be rescheduled. Hopefully the sellers that depend on this sale can hang on for another 5-6 weeks. Or what ever it takes.

Well, I guess I can relax a little. I was busting my hump to get as many beaver stretched and dried as I could before Friday. Now it can be a more leisurely project, what with all the bars and restaurants shut down...what else is there to do?

You might have to trade all them beaver pelts for a family size pack of TP.

I have a full can of Lysol I would be willing to trade for the Castor but you might have to sweeten the deal a little...

what about the right to assemble peacefully? the governor can just toss that out the window? so what we now have no law other than royal decrees? this thing is getting crazier by the minute

Was talking to Don again today, (trying to figure out a good strategy of what to do with my fur). He still is optimistic that we can hold this sale later on in the year. He did have 10 buyers lined up, but now has potentially 12 interested for if and when things blow over. Including Pappas, who would not have been able to attend the regularly scheduled one. Having him show up is always helpful for the guys with cats.

So I'm going to hang in there with my fur and hope for the best with a later sale.
