I'm sure there are plenty of other examples of such things also. Hoarding up necessities of others is just wrong I think. Pretty sad state of affairs. I realize times have changed since I was young. It used to be more neighbor helping neighbor than against neighbor. I know that there are still a lot of good people out there. We just need more thinking of one another. Sorry for the rant.

white marlin trapper W Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 6,485 central Haudenosaunee, the De...	we did NOT stock up on toilet paper (just normal buying) when this hit. fast forward to this week and we were getting a little low, so went to buy it. yeah, well good luck! wasn't at absolute critical stage, but I was starting to get a little concerned. wife found some in the next county and COULD have bought two multi-packs; but instead, just got what we needed so others could, too.

The capacity of humanity to care for its poor and weak is one of the things that sets it apart from much of the animal kingdom. It is low brow mentality when an individual or group greedily takes without regard for others. They will answer to God someday.

Things are out there if you know where to look. As a kid I never heard of anyone trying to take financial advantage of a situation like this. If anyone back then bought a large amount of items, it was usually to be donated to a very worthy cause. Not so much today..... Last edited by 20scout; 03/17/20 09:29 PM.
