Carpenter, bricklayer, banker. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

While in high school worked for various farmers, while in college worked two jobs to pay my way one at a beer distributor and for the DCNR. When I got out of college worked as a wildlife biologist, then pipelining, then 14 years as an underground coal miner. Now I work for a local gas company tending their pipelines.

I just read through some of this post and was shocked that Zim is a land surveyor ........ I always thought of him as an intelligent person even eloquent at times and with good taste not just in a culinary sense. I must admit that I have very limited experiences with the American land surveyor as a species at all. Just one to be precise. And If I was as bad at Navigation ( water surveying while under way in a sense ) as these guys were on finding my property lines. Boy let me tell ya'll that sand in the Goby desert would have screwed up the raw water impeller of my on board generator in seconds. But Zim being a surveyor of the land kind will give me hope and he can borrow my sextant any time when the area to be surveyed get a bit damp
Let's go Brandon

If you ever get to Mount Rushmore you will see the carvings of 3 surveyors and that other guy. Zim

Forever in debt to my Father who introduced me to trapping. May I be half the man he was.
