Grew up with one side of the family farming, and the other side ranching so I did that growing up. At 16 i started doing construction. Concrete, framing, roofing, siding. Did that all through college where I got my degree in construction management. Was a project manager for a small construction company for a couple years after college and we did a lot of work for insurance companies. My brother was an adjuster so we both decided to quit our jobs and start our own company. For the last 7 years our company has been doing fire/water/smokerestoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and biohazard cleanup, we are flourishing with China Flu. Currently waiting for the financial compilation so I can get my B-2 license (general residential and small commercial construction) so we can start doing remodels and TI work.

If traps work like the Antis say......I would have no fingers.

First non paying job was helping out on the farm.... between 7 or 8 years old till dad was killed when I was 15. Helped a neighbor haul bales a little when I was 14... $2 and hour. After dad died I was a full time farmer/ cattle man/ pork producer (although mom was the money handler) and part time HS student! After I graduated I still farmed and ran cattle/raised hogs. Went to work part time for a dirt mover fixing stuff. Also worked for my uncle (moms brother who helped us a lot after dad was gone) and a neighbor doing farming and running cattle. After I was married in 78 I started working at the local coop but still kept farming/raising livestock. 15 years later, Got divorced and quit farming. Worked at vice grip factory 15 years. Now work for a city board of public works. Also weld and fabricate steel products, do a little guiding and outfitting and dabbing in selling trapping supplies and outdoor stuff. Help my brothers out on the family farms.... now part owner since mom passed. Reckon I'll be busy till they put me in the furnace… Lord willing... and if the bones and body hold up !!!

That was quite interesting to read through! Fun post.
Starting at 15(for real jobs) housekeeping for a summer
Gutted and remodeled a house next summer, also helped build her dads house( bought my first truck)
Dishwasher/busser/waitress couple years
Then back to housekeeping, and up to the front desk woohoo.
Retail through my first pregnancy
Since then I have been a stay at home mom, Over 11 years.
Also starting my 3rd year running an Air BNB glamming sight.
Started hunting and trapping and tanning hides last year and can’t wait to see what business ventures it brings our way.

I have really enjoyed finding this site. Y’all have a great night.

Good grief, just for starters and in no particular order, machinist, pizza delivery, roofer, drywaller, plumber's helper, remodeling business, security guard, maintenance man, car mechanic, leasing agent, general valve mechanic, air actuated valve tester, leak rate tester, vender field representative, factory worker, factory supervisor and a few more that I cannot think of off the top of my head.
