I wish I would have picked up one of those .45 cal air rifles I sawa number of years back, what a close range deer whacking weapon, although most modern bows are probably just as good to quickly take venison...

What about non conventional such as air rifles and muzzleloaders...anyone taking notice of using those? no one seems to be paying attention to muzzleloaders.. lol
im talking more about harvesting then self defense.
if you don't have anything to use to harvest at this point . not knowing what you don't know is more of an issue than not having the tools available to buy. not much open for seasons , I suppose there is poaching but pound for dollar 6 DPs would net you more meat

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Cannot find 7.62 x 39 anywhere. I am looking at 2,000 rounds right now and only own 1 rifle in that caliber and I have NEVER fired it. Like a good boy scout, I am prepared!
I have nothing clever to put here.

The places I see that have ammo on line yet have jacked up he price to the point it is stupid. I don't need any, but watch it and if I can get my average down I buy some. But thats not happening now.

That's all I hunt with , got a 1000 caps and a small jar of flint , but I won't you how much powder I have . I think I have about 20 pounds of lead. Plus I have 5000 rounds for .177 call hastings pellet rifle , it does kill squirrels , I only had one squirrel get away , I pulled the shot and took his lower jaw off , I hated that.
