Six of one, half dozen of the other. The only requirement is to live there a year and not get arrested. Sounds like the requirements for this proposed payout will be even less strict. I haven't heard anything about felons being precluded.

So where are they gonna get the money from? If they have that much to give away why don't they just lower our taxes? And how much is it going to cost us to ay it back?

Somehow I suspect the folks at Sing Sing won't be getting any money.

I get a check, not based on need, not money the government borrows or prints, because I own the resource that generates the money the government wastefully spends.
The only reason the money exist ( in an investment account), is because I get a check. If I didn't get a check, the money would have been wastefully spent years ago and our bloated State Government would now be in big trouble now. It is an incentive program for voters to care how their government wastes revenues. The check is irrelevant to my personal finances.

I can’t see young people overall being that socially responsible. More money to party, buy pot and booze.

Its actually the interest and investments that pay the checks . Not the oil money itself. That principle is never touched. Its a pretty smart plan . Too bad other states don't share the wealth with the people that own them.

I'm sending mine back , I've been told 25 years ago the country is broke , they need to let the people work , because what I see is our rights being stripped away and we're letting them. Representative Massey of Kentucky don't like it . Watched him on Ron Paul Liberty Report. The last time we had a stimulus it falled , this one will to. I don't trust the goverment as far as I can spit.

Just read that they were looking into $1200.00 per adult. I think the vote is Friday.
