while that is particularily hard ammo to find

it is all hard ammo to find , right now.

as soon as the TP was out the bullets and hanguns had a run

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I was surprised to find our Walmart still had quite a bit of .22 ammo on hand. I bought another brick.

Those rounds are huge! Hopefully the rifle that fires them weighs about 12 pounds with a twin sized mattress recoil pad!

This reminds me so much of this old vid clip. Not sure what they are shooting , rumor is it is .500 nitro or .700 nitro.

Definitely a lot of people in this video that should not be shooting something that big , but interesting to watch for sure.

I was at the local gun shop 30 minutes after it opened Tuesday there were already 7 trucks in the lot 2 guys walking out with new guns when I walked in , 5 more in the store making piles on the counter to check out and buy their gun

things were going to empty quickly at that pace , the owner said he was closing after Saturday not sure he will have anything left on the shelf by then.

they are very limited hours Sunday and closed Monday so Tuesday was really the first time to go for the week.

seeing a lot of pictures of gander outdoors and other stores with bare ammo shelves on face book.

I think I can make it a few months on what I have but another brick or small pistol primers would be kinda nice. I don't have the free time many seem to have to assemble ammo. the wife and I are still working full time at this point although starting today she locks her self in the building and no foot traffic only calls she works for a local farm co-op dispatching fuel trucks and taking orders. everyone still needs their LP and Diesel.

I haven't been out at all since to see what any place has in person . I will just stay in I think

The video is a 577 T-Rex I believe.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Yesterday the farm supply store had a full stock of ammo, and they have a good selection. I have 7000 rounds of .22 so I think I'm good for now. Have reloaded everything else I need I guess.

Man that's a beauty for sure!

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

I would hunt with that every chance I got in relatively nice weather anyway. I prefer my old doubles for rabbit and quail. A rifle that fine would be icing on the cake

I do hate you. Awesome rifle. I had a W.J. Jeffery & Co. 28 gauge double some years ago. Circa 1930 or so. It weighed just five pounds and with 25 inch barrels, I couldn't hit a thing with it. Beautiful gun to behold, though.

Jeffrey 28? Man, don’t see many of those. I’ve never even shot a 28.
