You should take some pics after it starts to green up! Is this public land? Private, very little public land in Kansas. I'll try and get some pics off them all black then when the are all green . I'll try and post some pics of equipment also

Is that the Haywire Cattle Co at Marion that has the ridiculously successful ranch rodeo team?

Haha small world. I remember helping Jake get out on one of his first sheep at a KJRA so that was a while back. Miss Callie gives a mean haircut!

I talk to a old guy years ago and he said one of the problem with BLM land was they did not let the fires burn to get new growth.

No kidding? I used to help your uncle Jerry when he was going big on the cattle swapping and had some large hay leases. As far as your uncle Mark we can BS for hours on end. He hooked me up with neighbors that needed a trapper. They were always good to me just as Callie was. Tell her Marlin said hello plz

Yay great thanks for all the smoke we get to breathe in again every year. Don't have to watch our kids suck that smoke in running their track meets this year I guess

Will do. I already showed her your post. I was teasing her about still being know as Callie's little brother even on MY trapping forum.

Do you do that every year the same pastures? Or do you alternate somehow?

We surely had to cross paths sometime. I worked for both my uncles a lot and lived just a mile and a half from my uncle Jerry's farm
