I have a dozen Montgomery 's. I plan on cleaning up and using or listing. But I dont know the size? They are 5 1/4" inside measuring. Super strong springs ...I wire brushed with dremel brass ...one pan on one of them just cannot read the # size??? If you know about these traps tell me or pm me. Thanks!

Look like the high lever model from here.
The pitted rust may make levers twist.
Swivel, adjust, and run em.

Put levers fm Bridger nbr twos on traps and you get a high lever trap with better holding trap. The low levers on original trap is why some trappers four coiled them as the low levers didnt have alot of holding power.

8 sided vs 4 sided pan. Show a pic of the lock up is the for sure way.
As I said, pitted levers get weak.
Back when no one liked or understood dogless, I had 10 dozen.
And, the chain on those are superior to other swing set chain, unless rusted or beat.

Little known quirk. 2 5/8" wide pin = low 2 7/8" pin = high

I sold mine in effort to standardize, then another nest of them reappear. Most of mine were dogless.
Cotton, that roofer guy, Conner, and Graham know a lot about these. When they spoke I listened. Terry too.
I toured the manufacturing plant, it was a great experience.
