Your fifth one! WTH! I think you can graduate from "hobby" now if you want.
What did you do to learn how to shoulder mount?

If you can ever swing a trip down here and can go to the world taxidermy and fish carving championships, it is amazing. You can go to seminars and learn the latest tips and tricks, see some amazing work and meet some great people. There is a huge vender area too.

Great job! I'd be very pleased with that mount if I was paying for it Thanks man! For a good time, visit a buddies trail cam with him. LOL! That would be great!

What did you do to learn how to shoulder mount? I read ALOT and watched ALOT of YouTube! After reading and watching a lot of stuff, I figured out the good from the bad and tried my best! Each mount has had its challenges, but I’m learning as I go and figuring out what works best for me through trial and error. If you can ever swing a trip down here and can go to the world taxidermy and fish carving championships, it is amazing. You can go to seminars and learn the latest tips and tricks, see some amazing work and meet some great people. There is a huge vender area too. That is something I want to do one day!

Great looking mount may I ask the deers weight Thanks! I have no idea what he weighed. I didn’t shoot him, and weighing deer isn’t common here. All I got was the cape and antlers.
