Yes, it would still be tough, but would get people through if it's just 30 days.

If the government hasn't robbed the bank. Employers pay for that not the feds. The money should be there. then again, so should social security.

They just print more money to cover it.

railroaders can't apply for it down here Boco. You'd be SOL.

They have their own system.

I word for the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. We play a part in processing folks applying for and/or on Unemployment.

During the past week in 2019, there were 5216 new claims. In 2020, during the same week, there are 69,342 claims.

People should save money. People should live within their means. People should plan for emergencies.

I understand the macro effect the layoffs are having on the economy, but I'm tired of bailing irresponsible people and companies out. And I understand how unemployment taxes work. Welfare.

There will be no problem as the Fed will just create the money out of thin air !

There is 23 trillion of Federal debt that we know of so the government doesn't have any money for anything ! Everything the government pay's for is with new money being created out of thin air.

You only live once, so get over it!

Tactics may change but the goal remains the same.

I don't take responsibility for the Unemployment division as I do not work for them and cannot answer questions specifically pertaining to individual claims. There ae call-in numbers for that.

I got permission to work from home given my age and my wife's risk factors and just got myself set up for what will probably be a very busy time. I have my work computer, phone, etc. all set up on my kitchen table. Most of my colleagues are still working physically in the Job Centers...the only State office currently open to the public. They are being run ragged at this point and while I kinda wish I was there to help, I am glad that I am not.

The folks at the top of DWD have done a fantastic job at adapting and creating systems to allow folks to access resources as quickly as possible, and they are to be commended for that. We'll see if all this works...
