Since this coronavirus has put a halt to all the kids ball practice and games, and no school we've spent some of the best time together in a long time. We've been shed hunting and both the boys found some and I found the biggest matched set I've ever found here in East Tenn, it was 152". We also started building a new chicken coop for our new laying hens which all 3 kids were involved in helping. Then yesterday we went on our first mushroom hunt of the year and got enough for a good mess to go with our walleye. Today after church I took them trout fishing and then we came home and saddled up the horses and let the kids ride a bit. If there's one good thing about everything shutting down it's allowed me to spend some great quality time with the wife and kids. Here's a few pics from this week [Linked Image]

Yea swamp we've went several days without finding any, but my oldest son(9) has found two and my youngest son(8) has found one so it's enough to keep them interested. We are going this evening to look at some 400-500# steers. Plan on getting one or two to beef out this winter so I'll put them to building fence this week. It's amazing how much they enjoy working at this age but when they get old enough to be a big help it's a different story. Lol [Linked Image]
