Cool pics , close to home (sorta) a hour away. Been on the of same pieces of water a couple times. Also been up the new world trade center once ( very spendy - $42+ ) the museum below was very interesting too , very spendy too. I kinda cringe a bit seeing the Manhattan skyline without the twin towers though , been up them years ago. Every time I see an older movie with them in the background , I kinda get a bit sad and melancholy. Very nice pics , thanks for sharing. The FIL ( so to speak ) and I celebrating his 80th birthday in 2014 ( girlfriend's dad )

Your driving one of those boats? Why are you getting laid off? Those 2 pictures of the Statue of Liberty are cool! mt Yes I am in the wheelhouse usually alone navigating that crazy harbor, at times it is pretty tough! Getting laid off temp. passenger count is down big time (I run 4 different commuter ferry's)... Great pictures. We just got back home from there our son is on the USCGC Line I have seen quite a few CG boats in the harbor, he is on the vessel Line? Cragar I agree the sky line isnt the same and its a sad reminder of how quickly things change Forever! Always love your pics. Thanks for posting them! Thanks trapdog1 ,.,.

A couple pics from the museum under where the twin towers once stood. This firetruck was parked out front of the towers when they collapsed Picture of one of the pools that stand exactly where the towers stood. On the railings/borders are inscribed all the names of the lives that were lost that fateful day , I walked all the way around both of them reading most of the names in respect , it took over an hour to do that. Never forget them. Ever.
