Just a thought. How about state associations request that trappers who use neoprene (skinning) gloves donate them for use by medical personnel. Would be a win-win.

They would not want mine, half opened box next to the skinning bench.

Do you mean nitrile? Neoprene is like the material wetsuits and some boot uppers are made of.

That was nice of then seen that letter on Facebook not sure how bad the boxes would be from a fur shed stash of gloves, cardboard sucks up room odors pretty quick.

Yep. Was to early in the morning when I had this thought. Still asleep. Never the less it seems the idea floated about like a lead balloon. Lol.

I saw on the news here where a local tattoo artist donated all his masks and gloves to first responders. I think like others have said, unless you have new, unopened boxes of gloves, they won't take them. And even unopened boxes from the garage might not be sterile.

Bought a box of X Large at Menards, yesterday. There were two boxes, I took one. There were quite a few boxes of large size on the shelf.

Antigov, nothing would be better than Oregon trappers collecting nitrile gloves to donate to California or Washington medical personnel.

I would donate some to a fellow trapper or any individual truly in need ..........but prolly not to the hospital

The worst is that most of the one trappers have are non sterile, just ordered the last box from the parts store and had them put me on the list for another box, dad uses them when he is filling the planter because the seed is coated with an insecticide.

In a triage situation do those rules change on sterility?
Heck there may not even be the need for gloves like there is for mask.

I wouldnt think that would change but in a bind they probably would use anything to protect themselves.

I got some old toques and hipwaders I could donate.

I use nitrile gloves everyday handling contaminated soil and groundwater samples. Hopefully my supply will last long enough because I don't want to work without them!

I doubt they will accept any donations from democrats.

They only have left hand ones......

Is there a shortage of gloves? We were just able to order 5 boxes from our supplier. He didn't have any masks though.
