I heard a radio show interview with shannon keith, it was pathetic. She just kept going on about how fur farming and trapping is monstrous and nobody would be for it if they knew the truth and how trappers and fur farmers arent people who feel differently from her, but we are in fact evil monsters and comparable to nazis.
She also said that any animal caught in a steel leghold trap had only two possible fates waiting for it: To starve to death because trappers only check traps once every few weeks, or to chew off its own leg and bleed to death. I assume I dont need to go into how neither of those fates would make a trapper any money and is ridiculous. She also said 'most' farmed animals are skinned alive.
She said that the great lengths trappers and fur farmers went to not talk to her was clear evidence of the fact that we have something to hide.
She was asked if, since her movie has a lot of stuff on fur farms in china, was it inciting racial/nationalist rancor between the US and China, and she said no she didnt see it that way. I wouldnt go so far as to accuse her of racism, but she is most definitely culturalist.
When you think like "This is the culture I live by and my friends live by and you need to abide by it", what you are essentially saying is "my culture is better or morally superior to yours, and I do not accept your culture or way of life as viable and refuse to permit your culture to survive"
have you ever burned down a building or threatened someone because they didnt trap? We do not try to force anyone to be a part of our culture, but they insist on trying to force us to be a part of theirs.

you can listen to the radio show on ITunes, it is in the podcast "Animal Voices" (a popular anti radio show) the title of that episode is "Skin Trade: An Interview with Shannon Keith" This radio show is a good way to keep up with what the antis are up to.
