Use common sense. A lot of people on here have foolishly said this virus is no big deal. One of the reasons we are in the mess is that some people think that if they pretend like none of this is happening, it will all go away. Don't be that guy/gal.

It sure seems that way. I’m just trying to figure out what the end game is. It’s a big scam, since it involves multiple countries on multiple continents with different forms of government. Are parts of our government in on the scam, or have they been undermined? Are all the countries in on the same scam or is there a different agenda here in the US? Like I said, it does seem like an over-reaction which gives the scam idea some reason to investigate. It seems whomever is behind this scam is a threat to our country and should be dealt with accordingly. I would like an explanation as to what this scam is about.

Our governor just announced the closure of all nonessential businesses. What becomes of all those people living paycheck to paycheck? I was issued a permit to drive yesterday should the need arise. I'm required by law to inform LE that I'm concealed carrying if they pull me over. What's next, gun confiscation?

Just exactly how did a governor get the authority to issue a proclamation that any business must close? Proclamations are not law.

Wouldn’t surprise me. They don’t let any other crisis go without attempting some sort of restriction. Confiscation has been the fear of many for a long time. It may well be they’ll use this crisis to further that agenda.

I'm going to quit carrying until this blows over. I don't want a confrontation with LE should they try to sneak this in there while folks are unaware.

Madrid resorted to using a skating rink as a temporary morgue today. People are losing their loved ones and suffering in a way we haven't seen in our lifetimes. For Pete's sake, have some humility.

According to this 853 people per million have the virus in Spain. That is less than 1/10th of one percent. So if 5% are dying they have about 41 people per million dying of flu. They may well have put some bodies in an ice rink till they can cremate or embalm them. Do you have a number? 40, 50, 7 ? How many? 1/10th of one percent are sick. MAYBE 5% of those will die.

Five hundred dead overnight (Spain) according to a story I just read.

You said it bud, not me. The day you start calling the flu a hoax we can have that conversation. I can't remember the flu, or drownings, or car accidents crippling hospital systems on a nationwide level, in multiple countries simultaneously around the globe.

I joined this forum for the tremendous trapping knowledge shown here and your willingness to share that knowledge. A lot of great people on here. But I've been shocked and disgusted by the type of nonsense displayed in threads like these. If we want to survive in this world as sportsmen, and especially as trappers, we have to hold ourselves to a higher level of discourse, humility and compassion for human life than you're showing here. You are a reflection of all trappers and sportsmen. Think about that.

We've lost two health care workers in Georgia already. One was pretty sad. She knew to self quarantine but sadly when the neighbors hadn't heard from her in few days LE went in and found her dead along with her alive but unsupervised five year old.

I get your point here, but it's a matter of hot spots. The cases and deaths aren't geographically distributed across the country. Hundreds dead in your city, or rural neck of the woods which would be the case for most of us, in a matter of a week or so would feel pretty catastrophic.

Well then coos , you can also count on trappers like myself to point out any " ridiculousness " in the world to help you form a better opinon.

This virus spreads way much faster than the flu--plain and simple,several times faster. The number of flu deaths are mentioned all the time.If steps hadn't been taken,how many deaths would there now be from the corona virus.
My wife and I get the flu vaccine every year.And no we don't get sick from the vaccine and we have been able to avoid the flu for many years.
Older people and those with underlying situations are the most likely to die---both these issues put my wife in line to die from this if we get it.
I for one refuse to be responsible for my wifes death because I was a dumb (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and brought it home to her.
You guys do as you want,think as you want. I for one will do my best to avoid this potential killer.
I don't play with loaded guns and I am not going to play with this disease. Shoot yourself if you want--that's your right,just don't get any blood on me.
