I started this post and have since found out the following.

But we are now up to 12 confirmed cases of covid-19 in our county today. That is up just two from yesterday.

Have not heard anything. There are folks fishing at the landing in pouring rain so something must be going on. Watched them for a little while and saw no catches.

Be careful of the rumors about catching fish at Blackdeer's. Buddy of mine from Nekoosa heard the ice fishing there was HOT...it was all open water at the time.

Moosetrot . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . it became the new hot spot for early crappie fishing.

Anyway, Gibb's Lake was also a perch hotspot, if you knew where to go.

I got home on Sunday and didn't see a single cop car from Hilton Head Island all the way home to east TN. 8 hour drive normally. I did it in 7 this time with next to no traffic and zero cops lurking in the shrubbery. I am really into this social distancing as it is called now. Been doing it for years lol now I have the excuse that it is for medicinal purposes. In the past I was just a grumpy old fart. Now its called healthy living lol ... loving it. Cut the railing off the boat today prepping for enclosing the bow. Start the framing tomorrow. also tried with no luck to get the pump at the spring hot wired. Have to open up the underground tank next. Also went and zeroed in that new to me rifle. That little thing is a tack driver and now that I have some empty cases, I can work up a load for the thing. I have so many projects on the go, I need a year or so of this social distancing to get a dent in my list of things to do.

Let's go Brandon

So a restriction of rights is okay for public health? That's a slippery slope.

So if you are driving alone in your vehicle on some remote country road and a law enforcement officer pulls you over to see what you are doing. Is he going to stay the six foot distance from you. If he asks for your drivers license, is he not risking giving you the virus by handling the card? In this case, is not the cure worse than the symptom?

Just make sure you're coughing and wiping your nose as they approach your window, and cough into your hand before getting your DL.
