Nice one bandy! Very cool set of antlers on that one!

Nice Work Jurassic Park! Reminds me of the one I wanted to have done but never ended up tagging! Had a couple opportunities to make it happen and just couldn't get it done. He had the biggest brows I've ever seen on a deer!

Nice repair work. Reminds me of a friend of mine, shot a buck in the high 170 inch range one morning. Texted me a picture, to which I replied " whatever you are doing now, STOP!" By the time I got there he had unzipped it from chin to belly. Every time I see that Euro mounted rack hanging in his shop it haunts me.

We had a spike a few years ago that had spikes like the brows on that buck jurassic

Nice work,i like it when you,they alter ears on the mounts,it really adds to the mount giving them a more natural appearance.Great job,you do very nice work.

Lol oh yeah. That reminds me of a guy in town that guided for a couple years about 20 years ago so now he’s a guide for life at heart. Lol.
He shot a nice 140” 5x5 a couple years ago and asked my brother if he could help drag it out.
So they go get it and this guy is talking about how he’s skinned so many animals for taxidermy that he knows exactly what to do.
My brother has never done any kind of skinning for taxidermy so he trusted this guy to know his stuff. The guy opened this deer from its butt to its bottom lip!

My brother questioned him about it and the guy barked at him and said he’s been a guide for 20 years and he’s done so much skinning before, and that’s exactly how the taxidermist wants them yada yada..

So they start driving to the taxidermist who lives 2 hours away, and they get caught in a snow storm. Everything was a white out!
It ended up taking 3 hours to get to the taxidermist. When they gave them the deer cape and antlers the guy said sorry can’t mount that deer for you cause you cut it all the way up to the lip lol.
My brother was laughing so hard the guy almost left him their to walk home lol!

They drove another 3 hours back home in the storm and didn’t get his shoulder mount or euro mount cause he cut the antlers off the skull.
So those antlers are on his wall now unfinished lol!!

Thanks rick! I was actually thinking after it was done that I should have done both ears back. But I do like them altered too!
