What's the state of emergency there over the virus? I have a friend there who is a RN and I haven't heard from her for awhile. Is the state shut down or what's going on?

There are people in the Gated Communities in Florida , that are LAUGHING at the people in NYS ! Apparently, they think their Berlin Wall will protect them from the Virus !

I did find some info on Goggle.....looks like about everything public is cancelled or postponed.

My understanding is that while a LOT of people think they've been given the stay at home order, they have not. Last I heard, and maybe this is out dated, but as far as I know the only people supposed to "quarantine" themselves are those that are just arriving in the state from other places.

M. Magis is correct. Where I live Hillsborough County a curfew goes into affect tomorrow. 2200 hrs to 0500 hrs need to be indoors. Basically it’s spring break and still have a bunch of dummies partying so putting the a curfew into play they can be ticketed or fined.

No stay at home ordered yet. Hospitals have a no visitors policy in affect now.

I thought I read an article claiming the Governor is refusing to consider shelter in place.

I was just in Florida a month ago. I saw ALOT of Canada license plates. BOCO!!!!!!!!!!

I returned last week from visit with brother.
Funny thing was, only saw 3 people wearing mask in busy airport and one person wearing mask on my plane. I was wearing a mask as well.
Niece is RN nurse in the ER at hospital in Ft. Myers. She told me, last weekend she (and all staff) work without masks for two shifts. They were out of masks for two days. Dang.
