I rattled the biggest buck of my life in last season, it was 193". Also was my first buck I'd ever rattled in. My buddy got a new job working at a mine and met a man that makes some really nice knifes. So I sent the sheds to him that I rattled the buck in with and he made me and my buddy two really beautiful knifes. I got a friend making a leather sheath for it now, not sure if I want to use it or display it [Linked Image]

Very nice.....it looks like a good candidate, for a neck knife. Just get a nice Kydex sheath ...and carry it as a neck knife...love it !

For the knife, do both. Display it on your belt and use it. Looking at it in a case will only make you wonder about it, while getting it all worn in, will give you wonderful memories you will never regret.

That deer must have been born when McKenzie was trailing the tundra.

Thanks guys. I was very pleased with it. I can't help but think it would make a great skinning knife but I kinda hate to use it. Lol

Hawker and Madco had some great neck knife sheaths at the Con a few years back. That beautiful knife of yours would look great in leather.
