Wow, what a buck; really nice knife too. If that knife is made out of carbon steel (not stainless) just be careful of what kind of leather the sheath is made out of. I had a really nice carbon bladed knife once with a homemade sheath. The leather contained salts that completely ruined the blade.

RM, I'm more in the school of one more year and that buck would have really been something.
Kidding of course, this day and age getting a trophy like that in an unfenced environment takes a lot more pre planning and work than it does luck and I'm betting you did plenty for this deer. Congratulations. The knife is a beauty and Something wonderful to own wether you use it or admire it.
