Wow, what a buck; really nice knife too.
If that knife is made out of carbon steel (not stainless) just be careful of what kind of leather the sheath is made out of. I had a really nice carbon bladed knife once with a homemade sheath. The leather contained salts that completely ruined the blade.

That's not really a good idea. You would be better off just sending it to me

I definitely would use it.It was built to use and you won't hurt it.If it were mine,it would be leather, all the way,for a sheath.

Nice knife. The story of it’s origin makes it special. Definitely use it. That was an awesome buck too!

I'd have to use it. Every time you put your hands on the bone which you used to call in the monster, a smile will be on your face.

Dang nice deer.

Knives are made to be used. Especially when made by craftsmen.

RM, I'm more in the school of one more year and that buck would have really been something.

Kidding of course, this day and age getting a trophy like that in an unfenced environment takes a lot more pre planning and work than it does luck and I'm betting you did plenty for this deer. Congratulations.
The knife is a beauty and Something wonderful to own wether you use it or admire it.

Love it!
That looks like a very functional knife. Many knives are not, to me anyway.

Great Buck, and you rattled him in!!!! Dont think Id have been able to stay in the tree when that big boy came stomping in liking for a fight!
