Does anyone have advise on lightening up the triggers. I have some that are really hard to set off.

I'd try a little bit of food grade silicone spray spray on the pivot of the trigger that ought to loosen it enough

If they are little griz getter style triggers, replace the trigger pin with a long bolt so that the trigger swivels at the two ends of the new bolt instead of the one hole in the trigger (Those get gummed up or rusted solid). I add two nuts to lock the trigger to the new bolt which makes setting them much easier and gives you a very reliable engagement with the dog. I use a nylock nut on the end of the new bolt so that the bolt swivels without any resistance or excessive slop. I did all of mine like that 3 years ago and have never had a sticky trigger since. I trap in salty areas, so that is really doing something.

No problem using WD40 to loosen them up if that's the trouble.

I waxed mine this year and I had to scrape all the wax off the dog/trigger. I had several that would not stay set at all.

So a touch of lubricant on the trigger might do it.
