Quarantine sections of the N/E part of the USA. Two weeks later expand on that......maybe at some point people will social distance...

My guess is that we will soon see new federal guidelines that stress social distancing, handwashing, stay home when sick, etc, but don't shutdown the majority of economic activity where there are no cases or few cases. Business that rely on close proximity as part of their business, such as bars and restaurants, will stay closed. Travel will be discouraged. We cannot continue to provide essential goods and services with the economy shutdown. Supply chains have got to have a supply source.

we have gone almost no-where for 14 days
I went grocery shopping 3/14 and again 3/28
I have been quarantining food 3 days in the garage or cleaning it before bringing it in the house.
wear gloves and wash and sanitize frequently and kept my distance from anyone the few times I did go out.
I work from home the wife works a 1/2 mile he is the only one in her office , they closed to public a week ago before that she would clean between customers with bleach spray counter and door handle are about all that a customer can touch when they do come into pay a bill.
had everyone else done this 14 days ago we would have been largely done.
However 14 days ago people were still flying on planes and not taking this seriously.
so with today's restock we are set for another 14 days that is really going to be pushing the TP as I could not get any today. at one time I had 3 months of it stored in the basement I was apparently smarter then.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Working to flatten the curve will be very helpful to hospitals and hopefully saving lives as there will be equipment available over time to help those more seriously ill., but working to keep the curve lower also drags or spreads out the infectious time period, especially when we have millions that are "essential workers" and millions who do not believe in social distancing or any of the rules that decrease the spread of respiratory highly infectious diseases. If we are successful in flattening the curve and do a patchwork system of social distancing we will be in this for many more weeks and months. We may also have a new peak down the road in the fall as we will continue to keep the virus alive in our society. Yes that means hard times in many ways and economically as well but if many think that people are going to fly all over the world, pack restaurants, etc. etc. when we have increasing rates of infection taking place they are not looking at this realistically.
Bryce I think you are dead on. I'm serious. I agree with you.
