fleet farm had a bunch of them but that was pre-covid.
they seem neat but I am not sure where they fit in actual usefulness
if you actually need to hit a moving target , a 18 inch barrel gun with a stock seems the better choice,
if you need to fight , it needs 2 hands and seems it might be a bit hard to control and aim. also a little light on round capacity.
where it does fit is that it would be more than a regular handgun and still be legal to leave loaded in your truck as a truck gun and with a brace it could be more controllable yet still a legal loaded truck gun.
don't you wish they would have said anything loaded in a vehicle with a CCL is fine and we wouldn't be looking at making braced pistols and spending extra money to do so. you could just stuff the 500 between the seats with a tube full and have a ready to go shot gun a second.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
google tells me they do put braces on them. One thing I never understood is how the tacticool crowd operates the safety on a Mossberg with all the pistol grip stocks they put on.
To me, they never made any sense. You would be much better off with a shotgun with a stock. What would a person do with one? If you just want to look scary, buy a mask.

So buy a shotgun with out a stock, so you can buy a stock to put on it? Why not buy one with a stock that will fit so you can shoot it. They are made to sell, not to shoot.

So what is the purpose of one? Other than to sell? Do they shoot skeet, or trap, sporting clays, ducks, geese upland birds with them? Get a shotgun with a 18 to 24" barrel and it will do all that a shockwave will plus. For the OP, there are two pages of them on gun broker. If you go through them, there may be one close enough to drive over and pick up.

That Shockwave is an interesting weapon. I ain't got one, so, I must need one.
That said, I really don't see any practical purpose for it. It skirts legality, It's near impossible to be fired with full blown ammo by diminutive shooters. Try to convert to usefulness and find yourself in prison.
Still, It would look pretty cool hanging on my wall.
Man who mistake shillelagh for fairy wand; see pixie dust, also.
It's not a hunting/trap/skeet/clay gun, it's for home defense. It's short and maneuverable, measuring less than 27 inches overall.
My 870 works great for hunting and trap, but with a 30" barrel it's almost 2 feet longer than the Shockwave. Not exactly a good gun for close quarters.
Not sure where all the hate is coming from, guys must be stir crazy from quarantine. Trapper234 just asked about where he could get one, not whether you thought it was a good gun.
You may want to check gunbroker or armslist, but I have a feeling most HD guns will be tough to find right now, or prices will be jacked up.
Couldn't you put an arm brace on it like everyone does with ar pistols these days?
It's not legally a pistol. It's over. 50cal and dose not have rifling. It should have the other box checked on th 4473. It's not a rifle, pistol,or shotgun(technically shoulder fired) .
I'm sure some put braces on them but I would have to research NFA rules very carefully before I would attempt it. It only takes one jack boot cop to run your day, even if you win the hassle and expense may not be worth it.
That said it took me a long time before I felt comfortable with a braced Ar pistol. Some data with the stroke of a pen from our "pro gun president " the braces may go the way of bump stocks.
Guns like that, along with AR15 "pistols", Franklin Armory Reformation, binary triggers etc are made to thumb your nose at the BATFE and the NFA. They're made for the purposes of pointing out the absurdity of the definitions of different firearms.
