The dog brought me a present yesterday of a deer tick. Fortunately it got on my hand and I found it. So far haven't found any more on him or me. Randy Member NTA, FTA

I have watched ticks get up about knee high or so on my pants and then they start lifting their legs up and down like they are walking on hot coals. Then they just fall off. Randy Member NTA, FTA

I grew up hunting and trapping in these mountains and never found ticks on myself. Now you can not go out into the back without getting a tick on yourself. Another virus we need to concern ourselves with.

I follow a routine of applying a 40% Deet spray to my hat,gloves,coat,pants,and boots when I get out of the truck. At home I remove my hat,gloves,coat,and boots and hang them outside. I take my pants,shirt and underwear/socks to the washing machine,then I take a shower. This is a pita but I enjoy going out too much to not do it.
