Besides what you do for a living, what craft would you try and master at this point in time for extra income or hobby.
No Jab.

I always thought I would do blacksmith work when I retired, my shoulders are shot, no swinging hammers for me hitting red steel. Don't know what I will try now that I am 65.

I already do leather work...I don’t know about mastering the craft but I could always use the practice. I make holsters sheathes and belts at the moment...mostly western stuff. Carving and tooling is my current subject.

I can weld OK but had signed up for welding classes at the Vo-Tech to learn correctly. They cancelled classes because of the Covid.
I won't do it for income. I just want to do a better job around the shop and farm. It's good to know how. What welding process are you trying to get better at?
No Jab.

It would be easier to list all the things I haven't tried and done successfully. Always said I could fix anything from a broken heart to the break of day. Well those days are long gone due to old age, failing eyesight, and torn biceps. It would take a week to list the things I have invented, built to other specs, or repaired. Then a few on here would just call B S. so I won't bother. Charlie

I do maintenance work for a large company. I wouldn't mind looking into plumbing on the side. It's a crappy job, but I hear it pays decent.
