I would guess the hordes of people living on the public dole in Chicago are effected financially by the coronavirus much less than most of us are.

When you take a close look at what is going on in the USA after just two weeks of this the outlook for 6 weeks from now may not be very good.

When government forces people to stay home with no money and no food things will go downhill very fast-not just in Chicago but all cities and towns.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

The run/shortage of toilet paper is about to be replaced by the run/shortage of sheets of plywood.
Reminds me of scenes in Florida as a hurricane is bearing down and there are fights over the last few sheets left at Home Cheapo.

The homeless are being hit hard by this. Most if not all restaurants are closed. Not much food laying around.

Father's Day is the loneliest day of the year in Chicago. However, in Chicago, Father's Day cards can be purchased in a 5-pack.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I heard rumors of a 3 day ''black out'' coming. I live in central Illinois. Chicago is world apart from our farming communities here. It is quiet here and the people aren't too bad. The stores have most things. We went to Wal Mart two nights ago. I think I'll go somewhere else if I need anything until this is over.
Just passin through

If the city people do start to riot, the police and National Guard need to immediately stop them, to keep riots from spreading throughout the US. Even though the welfare masses are not as much effected, many of them still look for any excuse to destroy and steal and will do if they don't face severe repercussions.
Keith I doubt the liberal mayor will give orders to arrest looters especially when they are letting criminals out of jails due to the virus. She may give an order to the looters to stay 6 feet apart when looting. Remember in the past Baltimore riots, the liberal mayor gave orders to the police to give the looters space to riot. However, the Chicago mayor may give an order to arrest any armed citizen shooting a looter in their place of business.

Start shooting people will just get the rest new stores and a plaque saying how it was not their fault down the road. It’s a lose, lose no matter what you do So let it burn it will end up there in the end anyways it always does. Lived there for 21 years not a day I have ever missed the place since.

So some of these clowns arentaking a calculator to the theft with them!
